Eligibility Requirements

Who Can Apply?

You must be a Virgin Islander or hold Belonger status in the British Virgin Islands.

You are currently unemployed, underemployed, or seeking to change careers and gain new skills.

You are committed to actively participating in the programme, including attending placements and training sessions.

You can provide required identification documents such as a valid Driver's License and Passport or Belonger Card.

To complete your application, you will need to provide the following documents:

Valid Driver's License
A clear photo or scan of your current BVI Driver's License

Passport OR Belonger Card
A clear photo or scan of your valid passport or Belonger Card

Recent Photo
A passport-style photograph taken within the last 6 months

The RATED Programme accepts applicants with the following employment statuses:

Unemployed

Currently without employment and seeking work

Part-Time

Working part-time and seeking full-time opportunities

Self-Employed (No Income)

Running a business but currently generating no income

Full-Time (Seeking Change)

Employed full-time but seeking career change or advancement
